3 tb hårddisk

Köpte för ett tag sen 2st begagnade 3tb hårddiskar,kopplade dom in i ett externt usb kabinett,för att testa än att riva isär själva datorn.
Då visade det sig lite problem,att Windows har problem med just 3 tb hårddiskar.
För det är så nytt & Windows är så felkonfiguerat att dom funkar oftast inte.
Finns två problem,att antingen bara se ca 746gb eller bara 2.2tb.
Antingen kan det vara externa usb kabinettet som är för gammalt & inte klara av 3tb,eller även moderkortet på datorn.
Men,om man ser hårddisken i datorn,( oftast i diskhanteraren) så kan du deleta hårddisken,välja GPT istället för MBR (MBR stödjer bara upptill 2.2tb) formatera hårddisken så borde det funka.
Det funkade för mig med ett nytt Usb externt kabinett & ställa in så att dom skulle bara GPT versionen.
